This delightful wine is lively, fruity, fresh, and well-structured. Brilliant yellow reflections welcome you into a fruit-dominated nose with overtones of pineapple, banana, and ripe pears. It is medium-bodied with a juicy, crisp quality and a long, dry finish with ripe notes of rich fruit.
Cherry and raspberry on the nose, with hints of rose-hip tea and candied plums in the glass. The first impression of this Pinot Nero on the palate is ample and soft, with a silky, smooth, soft finish. Beautiful.
Dark red with a complex aroma of violets, nutmeg, vanilla, and strawberries. Well-structured with layers of flavor, depth and breadth. Full-bodied, ripe, juicy with a silky texture. Intense cherries, wild berries, ripe cranberries, and well integrated notes of oak unify in this wine of well-balanced structure, soft tannins and a velvety finish. This is an excellent wine which demonstrates Lagrein's potential to rank among the big-name grape varieties.
